Nejda Lugo Mandes, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. She specializes in providing expert management of acute and chronic conditions in older patients, and in helping seniors to maintain the highest possible degree of independence and quality of life as they age. Fluent in English and Spanish, she earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico before undertaking her internal medicine residency training as well as her geriatrics fellowship with Florida Hospital. She has significant experience providing evaluation and care of patients in nursing homes, outpatient clinics and hospital settings.
Dr. Lugo Mandes will join Dr. Randi-Ann Rodrigues at Family Care Center of Oviedo as of March 16.
