Martin Dietrich, MD, PhD, is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology with fellowship training in hematology and oncology. At the Cancer Institute of Florida, he will see patients of many types of malignancies with a focus on the evaluation, treatment and development of new therapies for breast cancer. Dr. Dietrich earned his medical degree at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and earned his PhD in molecular genetics at the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern in Dallas. He also completed both his internal medicine residency and his hematology/oncology fellowship at UT Southwestern. His clinical and research interests include immunotherapy and targeted therapy, the development of new agents in clinical trials, biomarker development and genetic research.
Dr. Dietrich joins the team at Cancer Institute of Florida on January 8.
